I’ve said it before that our Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals continue to impress me with their forward-thinking programming and sure enough they are exceeding my expectations again in 2016. Did you know that they are led by a group of more than ten community volunteers who plan, facilitate and coordinate over twenty events and programs annually? We call them our Steering Committee and together they are making waves in Southwest Florida. They are laser focused on fulfilling their mission: to develop the region’s future leaders by creating a foundation for networking, education, career development, and philanthropy.
From our Chamber’s strategic perspective, I see the Young Professionals as a catalyst for regional workforce and talent development. I am particularly pleased to share news of their March 8th CEO Panel event aimed at connecting their demographic with some of our region’s most successful Chief Executive Officers. The panel will feature:
- Carol Conway – CEO of Child Care of Southwest Florida
- Kelly Davis, Esq – Partner at Quarles & Brady, LLP
- Norman Love – Chef, President & Founder of Norman Love Confections
- Jim Nathan – President of Lee Memorial Health System
What better way to grow develop your leadership skills than to tap into the knowledge and experience of our region’s finest senior professionals.
