“The rapid growth of The Southwest Spotlight Newspaper is due in no small part to relationships forged at Bonita Springs Chamber functions and networking events. Our “Bonita Business Beat” and “Town Talk” sections often feature chamber members. The Spotlight’s many other in-depth articles often contain informative content brought to our attention through our chamber contacts. Support from chamber members and the entire Bonita Springs community has afforded us the opportunity to continue to grow and be a great resource for Bonita Springs. These are among the reasons why The Southwest Spotlight Newspaper belongs to the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.”

“My dog training company Canine Command joined the Chamber in May and Chamber members have already referred me new clients! The Chamber’s numerous monthly networking and educational events have been very helpful. Chamber leadership goes the extra mile to get to know you and your company and suggest ways to grow your business. The members are friendly and also eager to help each other with their business. Many of them are now vendors for my company supplying T-shirts and other promotional items! In today’s competitive marketplace the Chamber gives our company a way to stand out among the competition!”

The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce will launch a new program on June 1 designed to reenergize its existing members and to attract new members to our area’s only Five-Star Accredited Chamber. Titled “Where You Want to Belong,” the multi-faceted program will take place between June 1 and September 30, 2011 and will involve numerous activities and communications focused on providing engagement and value to its members. The program will officially kick off with a symbolic ribbon cutting at the Chamber at 5:30 p.m. on June 1, 2011.
“As the economy begins to recover and the business community moves forward, we want to ensure that our members are fully engaged and that they understand the benefits we provide,” said Christine Ross, president and CEO of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. “We go far beyond networking at business after hours, extending our reach to economic development, government affairs and building relationships among our business and City partners.”
“Where You Want to Belong” expands upon the Chamber’s existing brand “Where You Want to Be,” and will incorporate printed materials, videos, Facebook, Twitter, and traditional advertising to reinforce the Chamber’s inclusive, welcoming approach to the business and tourism communities.
Established since 1967, the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is known for its professional development programs, networking opportunities and alliances with local and state government.
