Our Position
As the voice for local businesses in our community, the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce actively monitors local, state and federal government entities and adopts policies that are in the best interests of our membership and community.
Our Government Affairs Committee leads this effort on behalf of the chamber. It actively monitors items being considered for adoption by our government officials. After reviewing key issues that affect both business and the community, positions and public policy statements are written and adopted by the chamber.
It is our intention to analyze all sides of an issue and develop a position statement that reflects input from our members. Our “Where We Stand Statement” contains the general positions adopted by the chamber’s Board of Directors on various issues of importance to our community. These general statements are the foundation from which we address specific issues as they arise.
