Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council rebrands as South Lee EDC

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (June 24, 2019) – Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council has launched new branding that complements its name change to South Lee EDC.

“This new brand aligns our identity and purpose to reflect our regional approach to addressing issues that affect south Lee County, from Bonita Springs and Estero to the Alico corridor,” said Don Thomson, South Lee EDC chairman. “Just as the issues that face our area aren’t confined by city or village boundaries, neither are our efforts to serve as an impactful economic development resource partner.”

The new name and brand will be commemorated at the upcoming EDC Social, 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, in the Cohen Center, Room 214, at Florida Gulf Coast University. Refreshments and light appetizers will be served. The event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are requested by email to Director@SouthLeeEDC.com.

Committed to supporting and developing a thriving business community, South Lee EDC’s key strategic priorities are quality of life, workforce development, and business retention and expansion.
