The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the Chamber’s philanthropic arm, designated by the state as a 501(c)3. The Foundation supports and assists the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce in its community development activities. To date, the Foundation has given out more than $115,000 in school scholarships to local students.
Ralph A. Richardson Scholarship Fund:
Two $2,700 scholarships are facilitated annually by the Community Foundation of Southwest Florida for which the application process closes in March.
Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund:
One $800 scholarship is facilitated by the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation. The scholarship cycle opens November 15 and closes March 1.
Impact SWFL is an innovative program for emerging leaders who want to fast-track their awareness of community issues, get involved with civic engagement and develop a personal leadership style.
Leadership Bonita is a signature professional development program offering hands-on, behind-the-scenes curriculum including regional economic development, arts and culture, healthcare, tourism, education, workforce, crime and justice, environment, government and infrastructure. The program runs from June to February each year.
