Government Relations

The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to keeping up with local, state and federal issues that affect the business community. Here are some actions the Chamber and its Government Affairs Committee take to keep area businesses informed of legislative changes, and speak up for them among legislative leaders:

  • Host candidate forums prior to elections so the community can meet candidates face-to-face.
  • Arrange video interviews with candidates, so a wide, digital audience can prepare for elections.
  • Visit Tallahassee annually to discuss the business community’s concerns with state lawmakers.
  • Meet with government officials and experts to keep up with issues affecting area businesses.
