Fort Myers, Florida — Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Katherine Cook has joined the firm as an associate in the Business Litigation department. She assists clients in general litigation matters including contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters.
Cook was born and raised in Pine Island, Florida, and graduated from Evangelical Christian School. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and graduated top of her class at Ave Maria School of Law. While in law school, Cook served as the publications editor of the Ave Maria Law Review and was a legal intern for United States Middle District of Florida.
Over the years, Cook has volunteered for the YMCA and Salvation Army. She currently serves on the board of Lee County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and is a member of the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers.
