Hodges University Named Best for Vets

November 7, 2019 –NAPLES/FORT MYERS, FLA – Hodges University has been named a Best for Vets College for 2020 by Military Times in the four-year college category. Only 134 colleges nationally made this list, and Hodges University is one of eight colleges named in the state of Florida. This is the third consecutive year that Hodges University has been included.

Nearly 12 percent of Hodges University’s student population are military veterans.

“There are many reasons why veterans choose to attend Hodges University,” said Dr. John Meyer, president. “Our monthly class starts really work with their schedules, and our degrees are all workforce-driven in careers they want to pursue.”

Both Hodges University campuses include a Dr. Peter Thomas Veterans Services Center where veteran students can relax, get community resources, and network with other veteran students. Each center has a director who is also veteran. Both campuses also have designated Veterans Parking spaces.

Hodges University, a regionally accredited, private nonprofit institution founded in 1990, prepares students to leverage higher learning in their personal, professional, and civic endeavors. With over 10,000 graduates having a 93 percent rate of continued success in careers, Hodges is recognized for developing programs that are uniquely designed and delivered to serve a diverse adult learner population.
