If you haven’t yet heard about the region’s most vibrant group of young professionals, you’ve been missing out on some exciting programming. They are the visionary team behind the special event I’m writing about today and should give you an idea of the quality of their forward thinking mindset. By the end, I believe you’ll want your company’s young professionals to attend.
On Friday September 11, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. they will engage in a multitude of leadership activities planned for the inaugural Bonita Springs Area Young Professionals “In Your Future” Summit Presented By The News-Press Media Group! The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs.
This premier event is the first of its kind in the Southwest Florida region. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., over 150 future leaders will come together, with career and community growth in mind, to be energized by dynamic speakers, thought provoking panel discussions, and captivating roundtable conversations. The theme, “In Your Future,” relates to developing a Young Professional’s personal and professional future, as well as how they can be proactive and influence positive growth in our regional community. The goal is to get their eyes trained on the future, and to talk about how they can engage and become better leaders, managers, community builders and collaborators!
After an afternoon of eye-opening advice and invigorating conversations, the event will unwind with two hours of networking sponsored by Rosier Insurance, a.k.a., “Schmoozapalooza,” from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy cocktails and appetizers while building their professional network with fellow career-oriented YPs!
I am thrilled with this exciting new program and know that the Young Professionals who attend will benefit immensely. Bravo to our Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Steering Committee for their vision and tenacity.
