Naturalist Grub Club
Bring your lunch and join the Grub Club to learn and experience the naturalist topic of the day. Naturalist Grub Club sessions are held in the picnic pavilion down by the Estero River.

Nature Talk – Why Native Plants? 
July 23, 2019, 10AM – 11AM 
Learn the importance of native plants in the local ecosystem, and resources for native plants.

Tuesday Nature Trail Hikes
Learn some park history, history of the Estero River and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way with a park naturalist!

Saturday Nature Trail Hikes
Learn some park history, history of the Estero River and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way with a park volunteer!

Beginning Cell Phone Photography
Bring your cell phone, learn the basics of photography and the best places to snap that perfect photo in the park!

Beginning Butterflies
A presentation and talk on the butterflies of Koreshan State Park and Southwest Florida.

Beginning Photography
A beginning photography tour of the different habitats and architecture within the park.

Photographer’s Nature Hike
A photographers walk on the nature trails of Koreshan State Park.

Gopher Tortoises
Discover just how fascinating this ancient species is!

Shells – Mysterious Beauties of SWFL
A talk on shells and the mysterious creatures that reside inside.

Manatee and Dolphins
Creatures that are fun to watch and extremely interesting!

Celebrate Florida Gopher Tortoise Day, April 10, 2020
Learn gopher tortoise behaviors, anatomy and fun facts–and hold and see the shells of specimens that lived in Koreshan State Park!

*Programs are free with park entry fee ($5 per vehicle with 2-8 occupants, $4 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists) but reservations are either required or requested.
