Bonita Springs residents can now apply for passports, marriage licenses and obtain certified copies of documents without having to drive to Fort Myers or Cape Coral.
Lee County Clerk of Court Linda Doggett has partnered with Tax Collector Larry Hart to begin providing the Clerk’s recording services from 8:30am to 5:00pm at the Bonita Springs office at 25987 S. Tamiami Trail.
“While many of our services are conveniently provided online, this additional location will save drive time for thousands of customers who need to visit the Clerk’s office in person,” Doggett said. “Most importantly, this partnership gives citizens easier access to Clerk services without increasing any costs to taxpayers.”
Deeds, mortgages, notice of commencementsand all other official records can be recorded at the new location. Couples can apply for marriage licenses as well as get married at the office. Customers can also apply for passports and have their passport photos taken. Additional Clerk services may be added in the future.
