The Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida Hosts First Lecture Series

Dr. Ann Bode to Speak Feb. 7 in Place of Dr. Zigang Dong

Dr. Ann Bode will replace Dr. Zigang Dong at the first Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida lecture series.  The program will take place at the Center for Performing Arts, located at 10150 Bonita Beach Rd. SE, Bonita Springs, Thursday, Feb. 7.

Dr. Bode will discuss cancer bio-markers and drug resistance. She is the Associate Director of The Hormel Institute where she is currently a Cancer Research Professor. She is also the founder and co-editor of The Hormel Institute’s Precision Oncology Nature Journal.

Tickets may be purchased online at  www.speakersassembly.com. Speakers Assembly members pay $30 and $45 for guests. The doors open at 3:15 p.m. with the lecture series beginning at 4 p.m. The lecture will conclude at 5 p.m.
